Did Adolf Hitler do anything good?

He wrote the first laws for protecting animals.

He started first checking system for drunk drivers.

Organized crime was brought to nearly 0% in Germany during Hitler’s time serving as Chancellor.

He created ecologic laws for protecting water, soil, and air.

For the first time in history, workers were given paid vacations.

After the death of Fritz Todt, Hitler created black boxes for airplanes.

He prohibited selling cigarettes to women.

He prohibited smoking for people in uniforms and persons under the age of 18.

He also prohibited smoking in public areas.

He was the first person to devise placing photos of diseased lungs etc. on cigarette boxes.

He is the founder of Volskwagen (peoples’ cars), and the designer of VW beetles, which is the second most produced type of car in history behind Henry Ford’s Model T.

He fought Breast Cancer and Lung Cancer.

The first freeways in the world were built in Germany. This first highway system was called the “Autobahn.” (“The whole world came, saw, and copied the Autobahn.”).

He saved Germany from unemployment and financial ruin.

He promoted architecture, music, and the arts

The first epic and televised Olympic games were held in 1936, when Germany hosted the olympics in Berlin.

World’s first research linking smoking and cancer happened thanks to Adolf Hitler.

Adolf Hitler made affordable vacation a right for all of Germany’s workers during his time as chancellor.

Hitler promoted homes with gardens, no more “rabbit-warrens”.

The Third Reich was the first the first sovereign nation to introduce limited hunting seasons.

Hitler authorized extensive research on cancer and various venereal diseases and the Third Reich offered an abundance of medicine to their general public.

The Third Reich’s labour laws were the best in known history. The Third Reich instituted a 40-hour work week and forbid working overtime. They also introduced mandatory periodic breaks during the working day and they sponsored trips to Italy as perks for workers.

The Third Reich promoted an unsurpassed sports culture among the youth which led to Germany becoming a true sports power house.

Hitler institutued loans of 1000 Reichsmark (this was the equivalent of 10 month salary for the average workin back in 1939) for married couples that were taken out at minimal interest and these loans were wavered for the births of each couple’s first child.

Volkswagen – “people’s car.” The idea of offering personal cars for the average German citizen was laid out in 1937. Volkswagen is an extremely popular brand of car today.

Unemployment was eradicated entirely in the Third Reich’s pre-World War II period.

Inflation was at an all-time low when Hitler was Chancellor.

Hitler had forbade the German army from using mustard gas or any other types of chemical weapons on enemy forces during World War II because he himself suffered trauma from being on the receiving end of mustard gas attacks during World War I. As a result, the deadly gas warfare that was endemic to World War I was thankfully never seen in World War II.

The Third Reich was a have for fashionistas because Hitler promoted idea of dressing well and dressing in a sophisticated manner. German army uniforms from World War II were redesigned by the famous German fashion designer Hugo Boss. The Third Reich’s military uniforms are still amongst the sharpest ever made. German military uniforms from Wold War II still have a magnetic aesthetic appeal.

The Third Reich were pioneers in rocket science. America’s space programs were guided and led by Volksduetch scientists like Werner von Braun and Arthur Rudolph.
